Project: Faculty IS (2000 - today still in production)

Tailored project for the development of web-based information system for students and faculty developed in several stages to cover research and publication activities (publications, patents, …), and further extended to cover all other agendas including various evidences, electronic index, registration to courses, study results tracking, registration of accommodation, etc. The back-end covers around 500 database tables and the system is used in peaks (mass registrations) by hundreds of concurrent users.

Metada delivered its metarepository solution and the frontend metamodel which enabled the faculty to purely model the whole information system and have not only the web-based front-ends automatically generated, but also all the SQL queries, inserts, and updates to the faculty’s Oracle database. The solution delivered enabled only one single analyst (a non-programmer) to create the whole complex information system in very short time.
